Job Posting:

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Gold Bar, WA. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for aggregate sampling and testing as well as process control as part of the production team ensuring appropriate product quality.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Sample on-site aggregate at various stages of production

  • Test raw materials according to specification

  • Calibrate, clean and maintain production tools and testing equipment

  • Record and report test results to management

  • Sample aggregate shipments

  • Work in conjunction with production personnel to evaluate problems with quality

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Demonstrated basic math skills

  • Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team

  • Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision

  • Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather.

  • In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Applicable post-secondary education

  • Quality control, manufacturing, or production experience

Conditions of Employment:
