Sartorius IT Sourcing and Controlling Specialist (x|f|m) - Hybrid in Goettingen, Germany

We are looking for a IT Sourcing and Controlling Specialist (x|f|m) for the IT Sourcing and Vendor Management Department at Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. In your new role, you will be working within Sartorius IT Vendor Management and be actively involved in global IT sourcing and cost controlling activities.

The team consists of five professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for either part-time or full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

  • You will carry out the procurement of software, hardware and IT services in accordance with the strategic objectives of Sartorius IT

  • This includes performing operational purchasing activities, such as creating purchase baskets, initiating and tracking purchase orders and reviewing invoices

  • Performing RfX activities and negotiating and optimizing contract terms and conditions

  • Efficient handling of internal cost control guidelines and procedures rounds off your area of responsibility

What will convince us

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as well as appropriate further training as a specialist or business economist with proven professional experience in (IT) purchasing

  • Ideally, you already have experience in IT sourcing, e.g. software, SaaS solutions, IT services, IT equipment and hardware

  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and have operational knowledge of P2P and purchase requisition software

  • You are characterized by analytical thinking, an independent way of working, the ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal and communication skills and a confident and self-assured manner

  • Business fluent in English and German round off your profile
