Nowak Construction Co., Inc. is an underground utility contractor based out of Goddard, Kansas that operates in surrounding states. We participate in the construction of: capital improvements, residential and commercial development projects, Oil & Gas Pipeline, and the installation of energy and communications infrastructure.

Required to haveCurrent Class A CDL with Tanker & Air Brake Endorsement no manual restriction! Must have good driving record! Must be able to schedule in person interview in Goddard, KS!

Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be able to travel for job.
  • Deliver equipment, material, and tooling from location to location via heavy commercial vehicle
  • Operates all vehicles capable of over-the-road travel in accordance with all state, federal, and local laws. Must possess a proper commercial driver\'s license (Class \"A\").
  • Assists with field surveying or other field engineering activities.
  • Ability to lift drill pipe and materials weighing more than 40lbs.
  • Performs or assists in routine equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Assists with site mobilization, material handling, and equipment decontamination.
  • Assist drill crews with all drilling operations or other activities related to the drilling operation.
  • Complies with site-specific and/or corporate health and safety plan.
  • Performs routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment at shop and in field.
  • Performs simple to moderately complex repairs to equipment as directed by the Drilling Coordinator.
  • Prepares equipment and procures project supplies for future projects.

Driver Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience preferred
  • Must have an excellent driving record within company standards
