The Business Continuity Analyst is responsible for working with business units, sites, and IT to understand infrastructure hardware and software and maintain Crisis Management lists for each site. The incumbent will work with other members of the Business Continuity and IT teams to support the businesses through business impact assessments, risk assessments, exercises, and incident planning/management. The primary goal is to ensure continuity readiness and compliance with the Global Continuity Plan.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

The purpose of a Business Continuity Analyst is to ensure that the organization’s business operations will continue to function during and after a disruptive incident. This includes identifying potential risks and threats to business operations and developing plans and procedures to minimize their impact. The Analyst must be able to effectively identify and communicate their findings to key stakeholders and implement changes to ensure business continuity. Build templates for all the software applications and hardware within each site. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining a list of all applications, architectural diagrams, and room layouts and providing advice on how to minimize the impact of an incident within an organization’s operations.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing plans to ensure Hardware & Software have not changed.

  • Provide advice and guidance on business continuity management.

  • Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain and update Hardware and Software lists.

  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitor external developments in the areas of risk and continuity management.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related curriculum such as Information Technology and/or related operational experience.

  • Preferably Six years of relevant / proven experience.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Experience in business continuity planning & knowledge of risk management processes.

  • Experience in creating Architectural diagrams for both software and hardware installations.

  • Must be willing to travel at least 20% of the time with off-hour on-call support.

  • Ability to build and deliver documentation.

  • Extremely organized and understands the vitality during a business-disrupting event.

  • Ability to simultaneously focus on multiple high-priority tasks.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

  • Good knowledge of existing and new technologies.

  • Strong verbal and written communication. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in remote locations within all levels of the organization.

  • Self-starting & self-managing, ability to handle diverse situations with limited management direction. Demonstrates ability to think ahead and take action to ensure success.

  • Willingness to adapt to rapidly changing environments and new challenges.

  • Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures.
