Position description:

American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is looking for a Senior Reinsurance Analyst to join our growing team. As a Senior Reinsurance Analyst you will be responsible for handling complex reinsurance transactions, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of the reinsurance agreements. You will handle preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for non-life reinsurance companies as well as reporting for profit sharing arrangements. You will be responsible for handling intricate issue resolution while providing internal and external support. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: -Support, develop and enhance reinsurance reports -Work closely with the Reinsurance and Funding Director to identify any possible internal control issues or concerns -Build, strengthen and maintain positive business relationships by establishing rapport with agents and dealers -Supervise the use of banking websites to create reports -Review manual data entry into reinsurance reporting system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance in reinsurance or insurance required

  • Experience in warranty finance or accounting preferred

  • NAIC annual statement reporting experience preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office products

  • Strong mathematics proficiency, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, commissions, percentages, and volume
