Job Description

You will deliver sustainable and profitable sales growth for our Global Account. We will rely on your ability to drive market share growth by enabling solid customer relationships, support and coordinate IFF sales related activities to promote relevant solutions by translating the customer and consumer needs into our creations.

Regional Account Management:

  • Global Account Henkel, in “Perfect Clean” Fabric Cluster (EAME) and for “Home Care” in (EAME):

  • Driving Home Care and FC Perfect Clean Cluster in EAME team towards a sustainable, profitable sales growth in close collaboration with the Global Account Director and the Global Category Account Manger Fabric Care

  • Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external customers

  • Develop and execute account plan in line with regional and global strategy

  • Monitor markets development in terms of competitors, products, and trends and ensure insights are communicated internally

  • Manage team performance, ensure regional resources, expertise and effort are correctly channelled to enable success and effective teamwork

    Business Development Management:

  • Conducting research to understand consumer preferences, trends, and needs to nourish concept development

  • Generating new product or service ideas based on consumer insights and market trends

  • Creating prototypes or mock-ups to visually represent concepts and demonstrate their potential to stakeholders cross categories and brands

  • Presenting concepts to internal teams, clients, to garner support and funding for development

  • Ensuring that concepts align with customers brand strategy, identity, values, positioning and overall account strategy

  • Building relationships with customer x-categories/brands/ regions

Job Requirements

Experience:

• Between 7-10+ years of industry related experience with strong track record, at least 3 years serving in a senior sales role and/ or Business Development Role

• Strategic vision, innovative thinking, business acumen and ability to drive and rally cross functional regional teams

• Self-starter mentality independently initiating and executing customer relevant offerings focusing on new business opportunities for IFF

• Responsible for the development and execution of an Annual Activity Plan assuring best in class positioning for IFF in Henkel’s KPI evaluation for Marketing/ Business support

• Ability to create, nurture relationships at senior levels and create opportunities for growth

• Passion and in-depth knowledge of subject matter and product development

• Understanding of socio-economic environment and relevance to the region

• Analytical mindset to interpret inputs from market trends and consumer tests

• Creative Thinking Abilities

• Visual Communication Proficiency

• Design Software Proficiency

• Strong fragrance knowledge and olfactive skills

• Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills

• Fluent in German, Effective business English with a global mindset able to work with different culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing
