We are a locally owned and operated family-oriented business. Position Summary: The technician is responsible to diagnose problems and accurately prescribe the correct repair action(s) and promptly deliver the required service within safety compliance standards. Provides support and guidance to fellow team members and managers; working in cooperation with others to achieve desired results and exhibiting flexibility and adaptability. The R&R responsibities are to diagnose, remove and reinstall transmissions safely.

Responsibilities Remove transmissions accurately Reinstall transmissions accurately Experience on automatic and manual transmissions for domestic and import vehicles (both early and late model) Maintain all shop equipment Diagnose transmission problems Proper system diagnosis Removal, installation, and servicing of components Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs Provide accurate parts and materials list for repairs Inspect and test vehicles for necessary repairs Assist in proper maintenance of shop and equipment

Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles Knowledge of electrical diagnostics Experience on domestic and import vehicles (both early and late model) Excellent follow-up & organizational skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Capable of assuming responsibility Ability to multi-task Capable training intern technicians
