The Impact You Can Make Under the direction of the Director, Supply Chain and/or his/her authorized designees, the supply technician shall be responsible for multiple materials management and perioperative supply chain activities. _*Team Impact* _For _/materials management/: Technician performs all supply chain distribution tasks relating to the requisitioning, ordering, inventorying, stocking, reconciling, receiving, and delivery of supplies in the most efficient manner while maintaining high levels of customer service. /For perioperative services_/: Technician supports the needs of assigned Operating Rooms/procedural areas in the hospital by ensuring that inventory is obtained in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains a high standard of accuracy when ordering supplies and interacts frequently with the hospital clinical staff to ensure service levels are being met. Efficiently manages tasks while working in a sterile, fast-paced and high-demand environment. Qualifications/Experience * High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. * Two years of specific job-related experience in a medical, hospital or clinic setting preferred * Two years’ experience with surgical/medical supplies, various medical equipment, medical terminology and in the surgical environment are preferred SalaryRange The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $17.25to $25.19 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
