Radiologic Technologist - Operating Room

Description: Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist and collaborate directly with radiologists, surgeons, and nurses to perform diagnostic radiology procedures in the main operating room. Your role will involve providing exceptional patient care, safety, education, and radiation protection practices while meeting age-specific needs. Reporting to the Nurse Manager with oversight from the Operations Manager of Medical Imaging, you'll ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in every procedure.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams with technical skill and adherence to established protocols.

  • Maintain accurate patient records in the Radiology Information System and PACS to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Provide direct and indirect supervision and education to students in the clinical setting.

  • Collaborate with other radiologic technologists and healthcare professionals across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

  • 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

  • Current BLS Certification and New York State Radiologic Technologist License.

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.

  • Strong clinical and professional accountability.

  • Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and physicians.

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and mentorship.

  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population.

  • Computer literacy and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $41.00 per hour
