Hiring Maintenance Technicians in Glendale, KY!

PAYING $25-$32 AN HOUR

Description:

The day to day for these maintenance positions will be focused on machine installations, setup of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, electrical systems. They will support and provide ongoing preventive, planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipment associated with their assigned areas plant once installations are complete.

• Oversee new equipment installation, set up, modification and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to OEM specifications.

• As needed, work with outside contractors to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.

• Perform troubleshooting and investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, bring production back online and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrences.

• Inspect and check equipment for proper operating condition, make necessary adjustments, log test readings, and maintain, repair, or replace equipment parts, maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration of equipment and systems including repair, rework to meet and maintain specs and tolerances.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders.

• Ability to connect wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice wire, replace or repair belts, chains, or cables on machinery.

• Ability to align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates with the potential to operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.
