ABM Industries Stadium Floor Tech in Glendale, Arizona

Overview

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Stadium Floor Technician in Glendale to complete assigned cleaning and maintenance of carpet and hard surface floors as well as floor care machine preventive maintenance. Full Time including weekends. A minimum of 3 years of floor care experience needed. Knowledgeable to perform maintenance on the M30 and T12 machines.

  • Pay: $18.00-$19.00/hour

  • Full Time Shift: 8am-4:30pm including weekends and event days

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• A minimum of 3 years of Floor maintenance experience needed.

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience

• 1 year of similar work experience

Floor Care Tech Responsibilities

  • Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.

  • Moving furniture before and after cleaning.

  • Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.

  • Measuring chemicals correctly. Operating chemical dispensing units.

  • Labeling chemicals correctly.

  • Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.

  • Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.

  • Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

  • Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.

  • A minimum of 3 years of Floor maintenance experience needed.

  • Knowledgeable to perform maintenance on the M30 and T12 machines.

Floor Tech Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Floor maintenance experience needed.

  • Knowledgeable to perform maintenance on the M30 and T12 machines.

  • Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.

  • Resilient to noise.

  • Physically agile.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
