JR Filanc Construction Company Foreman - Arizona in Glendale, Arizona

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of water and wastewater construction projects. Your experience in construction and leadership will be instrumental in coordinating tasks, managing teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within established timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise on-site construction teams, including laborers, equipment operators, and tradespeople

  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets

  • Provide hands-on guidance and instruction to team members, ensuring work is completed to high quality standards

  • Monitor progress and productivity, identifying and resolving any challenges that arise

  • Maintain clear communication with Superintendents, Project Managers and stakeholders to provide updates on project status

  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of resources, materials, and equipment

  • Participate in the selection and training of new team members as needed

  • Maintain daily logs and site photos via project management software (Procore)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater construction.

  • High School Diploma or Associate Degree in a related field.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing construction teams and projects.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.

  • Understanding of safety regulations and protocols.

Working Conditions:

100% of the time is spent on the project.
