We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is able to be a team player when needed. The ideal candidate for this role will already have 2 to 3 years of prior experience in a similar role looking for the next step in their career. Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing necessary information

  • Coordinate patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal scheduling and minimizing wait times

  • Welcome patients warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in procedures, and ensure a comfortable and positive experience

  • Verify patient insurance coverage, determine eligibility, and communicate relevant information to patients regarding coverage and benefits

  • Obtain preauthorizations for medical procedures and treatments as required by insurance providers, ensuring timely approval

  • Collect copayments and payments for services rendered, accurately process payments, and provide receipts as needed

  • Prepare patient charts for the next day's appointments, ensuring all necessary documents and information are readily available for the healthcare providers

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records by accurately filing and scanning documents into the electronic medical records system

  • Collaborate with other team members to provide support as needed, including assisting with administrative tasks or patient care duties
