Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role involves overseeing the productivity and efficiency of office employees, managing office budgets, and maintaining a well-organized, safe and efficient workplace. You will also be responsible for ensuring effective communication with customers and clients and improving office operations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the work of all office employees to ensure productivity and adherence to deadlines and company standards

• Provide guidance and support to any employees struggling in their roles

• Manage and respond to telephone calls and emails from customers and clients, directing them to relevant staff as necessary

• Develop and enforce an office budget, ensuring all employees adhere to it

• Monitor office supplies and order new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required

• Conduct interviews and training for new office employees and manage their employment paperwork

• Organize maintenance companies to maintain office cleanliness, safety, and appliance functionality

• Report office progress to senior management and collaborate with them to improve office operations and procedures

• Utilize accounting software systems, Microsoft Office Suites, and other relevant tools to perform accounting functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions

• Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of Accounting Functions
