Veralto Market Analyst Intern in Glen Allen, Virginia

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Looking to gain real-world experience in Market Analysis? ChemTreat is providing an internship opportunity to shadow and work alongside an experienced Marketing team, assisting with market analysis projects.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who has data analytics skills, is highly proficient in Excel, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Being an adaptable problem-solver and team player is a must have.

This is a paid internship opportunity, with the expectation of being full-time remote for an estimated 3-month duration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in data entry and review, data mining, and dashboard creation projects

  • Participate in process improvement, and new technology evaluations to help grow and scale our marketing initiatives, as needed

  • Assist with ad hoc analyses and insights of ongoing marketing initiatives.

  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned

SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Advanced data analytics skills

  • Proficiency in Excel is required

  • Ability to effectively summarize and visualize data

  • Excellent written and oral communications

  • Comfortable learning new technologies and tools

  • Detail-oriented with effective personal organization, project management and time management skills.

  • Adaptable and able to field multiple priorities and ad hoc requests.

  • Team player who works collaboratively with others.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Recently completed or currently pursuing Bachelors degree; Business, Communications, Engineering or technical degree preferred. This position is for rising college Juniors and Seniors.

  • Familiarity with SQL, PowerBi, Qlik, and data modeling are a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell.

  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.

  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
