Westdale Asset Management Building Maintenance Technician in Glen Allen, Virginia

Rate: $21.50 - $26 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for our Richmond, VA office buildings. As Maintenance Technician, you will assist the Building Engineer with all the building maintenance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising all mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and other operational programs to protect and maximize the operating efficiency of the properties. In addition, provide prompt and courteous service to tenant requests and maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications include a minimum of 1 year of experience in office building, retail, hotel, multi-family or single family property maintenance.  Knowledge of commercial HVAC including experience with rooftop package units and electric VAV boxes is a plus.  Furthermore, requires rotation of on-call duty after hours.  Education requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent.

    Work Days: Monday – Friday

Work Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; regular 40-hour week (some overtime may be required); will rotate on-call.

Required License or Certification: Valid VA Driver's License
