A full-time postdoctoral position is immediately available for functional characterization of oncogenic proteins involved in cell signaling pathways and the development of allosteric kinase inhibitors.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, chemical biology, biophysics, pharmacology, or a closely related field. A strong background in protein isolation, quantification of protein-protein and protein-ligand affinities, as well as enzyme inhibition assays, is required. Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills are essential. Additional experience in molecular biology or mammalian cell culture would be beneficial.

The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments, as well as generating new ideas to advance current research. They will also contribute to the preparation and publication of scientific manuscripts under the guidance of Dr. Zhihong Wang. Furthermore, the position involves training and supervision of graduate students, undergraduate students, and other research staff.
