PLAINS AG LLC Service Technician in GLASGOW, Montana

 

Plains Ag/Border Plains Equipment, an employee-owned certified Case IH dealer in Glasgow, MT, is looking for a top notch individual to perform quality maintenance and repairs on all types of agricultural equipment. A great candidate is one who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner and has a dedicated work ethic.

Team Contribution:

  •  Responsible for maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of farm equipment
  •  Comply with all safety regulations and rules
  •  Quality and customer service oriented
  •  Promoting team Values through effective interaction with team members

Qualifications:

  •  3+ years experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment
  •  Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  •  Good people, communication, time management and organizational skills

Requirements:

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and perform mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment
  • Track details and prepare reports/forms in conjunction with assigned work orders
  • Follow all necessary schedules/requirements for completion of tasks
  • Use of electronic diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, and other sources of information

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical mobility including being able to lift up to 60 pounds unaided
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to manage different environmental smells
