Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater.

  • This is a permanent, full time warehouse position based in Girraween, NSW

  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

  • Entry level position where graduates are welcome to apply

  • Extra 1.5% superannuation on top of hourly rate

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Physical testing of soil samples for Foreign Material analysis.

  • Prioritise samples as per turnaround times (urgent samples).

  • Log results in to ELVIS Database.

  • Ensure traceability of samples.

  • Advise Quality Manager on all periodical instrument calibration requirements (e.g. balances/scales).

  • Transfer of Soil Samples from Sample Receipt to Warehouse.

  • Discard waste in accordance with safety and environmental consideration.

  • Keep the laboratory clean and in order.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • General preference and comfort in technical environments.

  • Great time management skills with ability to multi task.

  • Ability to heavy lift including up to 20kg.

  • Ability to demonstrate a hands on and 'doer' approach.
