The Courier is responsible for picking up and distributing packages, parts and documents for both mine locations from local businesses.

  • Meet the physical demands of the position as defined in the Physical Demands Analysis
  • Driving between Eagle Butte and Belle Ayr mines and within the county year-round, every day the offices are scheduled to work.
  • Carrying loads up to 75 lbs. to and from pickup and delivery points.
  • Hold a valid and sufficient license to operate any such vehicles or equipment and not be subject to any license suspension, revocation, cancelation, lost privilege, or disqualification.
  • Skills and abilities shall include as a minimum: lifting, driving in both dark and light, driving in adverse weather conditions, understanding both written and oral instructions, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Locating suppliers and addresses within the county.
  • Written and oral skills to perform basic documentation and communications.
  • Operate forklift and related equipment in a safe and productive manner
  • Record and post all transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Maintain the schedule of the courier service to and from the mines sites, including any urgent and overweight/oversized orders.
  • Other assignments as requested
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Schedule M-F 3 PM to 11 PM
  • Must Comply with company drug and alcohol policy
