Momar is looking for a Driver!

Looking for multifaceted employee that is a Class A Commercial Driver, capable of equipment service and maintenance, as well as handling blending and inventory operations in both a lab and field type setting, all while maintaining customer focus to join our successful Family Culture company. Driver is responsible for safely operating single and dual trailers mostly hauling bulk liquid. Driver needs experience to navigate facility, mining environments, congested roadways, alleyways all while ensuring their vehicle remains clean, orderly and within state and company standards. Unloading and loading of liquid bulk materials must be performed professionally and with attention to detail. This employee must have service and maintenance experience to include working with pumps, piping, and controls. Responsibilitiesinclude operation of blending of chemicals by opening correct valves, running pumps and blending system, taking measurements, filling out forms verifying amounts of product while performing quality control of blends.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicle, documenting and reporting any mechanical or safety issues
  • Operates vehicle in a safe manner in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, all local, state, and federal laws, and company policies
  • Courteously interacts with customers, both internal and external, ensuring customers are serviced in a professional and timely manner
  • Safely lifts and connects plumbing to move, load and unload liquid from and to tanks and trucks
  • All areas in and outside of the trucks must be left clean of debris
  • Ability to service, operate and maintain pumps, plumbing, perform blending of chemical
  • Ability to track blends, perform blending successfully, monitor, document, submit forms and work with our laboratory technical team
  • Any drips or spills of materials must be notified to supervision immediately and cleaned up as much as possible
  • Replaces trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area
  • Reports any problems or safety hazards to your supervisor immediately
  • Immediately notify supervisor of any accidents, injuries, or property damage
  • Maintains and updates chemical sheets and driver logs
  • Attends scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings as directed by supervisor
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor possibly including assisting on other routes to meet customer needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently hold a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
  • Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc
  • Must have the ability to properly operate hand held I-pad as required
  • Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
  • Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and extended periods, of time
  • Must be available for around-the-clock trips and possible overnights (though this is not normal)
  • Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation
  • At least 1 year or 20,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
