Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Environmental Services Supervisor.

This position will be responsible for front line supervision of the Town's residential and bulk solid waste collection services. The ideal candidate will be a result-oriented achiever who takes pride in developing the team they lead and optimizing the operations they oversee. This individual will motivate their team by creating an environment of accountability, respect, open communication and continuous learning. They are astute operationally; innovative in finding ways to improve service efficiency; skilled at recognizing and addressing issues and challenges - quick to identify and implement common sense solutions to resolve them. They will possess a commensurate work ethic and model the highest standards of integrity in serving the staff, the organization and the community.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Supervisory leadership principles and practices;

  • Identification of hazardous materials (non MSW).

SKILL IN:

  • Interpreting and explaining rules, policies, procedures, and ordinances;

  • Strong computer use in all Microsoft Office and related industry software;

  • Written and oral communication with both internal and external customers;

  • Organization and prioritization.

  • Associate's Degree or higher in a related field highly desirable

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License

This is an At-Will, FLSA Exempt position-ineligible for overtime compensation.
