Job Description:

As a Controller for our luxury hospitality establishment, you will oversee all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to develop and execute financial strategies that align with our overarching goals of delivering exceptional service and experiences to our affluent clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Manage and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Accounting Operations: Supervise accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline financial operations and enhance productivity.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Proven experience in a financial leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury setting.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal controls.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those without a finance background.

  • Diplomatic and tactful demeanor, with a keen ability to handle sensitive situations with grace and professionalism.

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and implementing innovative solutions.

  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
