Our Power Electronics Team at Vitesco Brasov is looking for a new Quality Team Leader to support the team!

As a Quality Team Leader you will be responsible of:

  • Leading and managing the Quality Group within the assigned segment, overseeing Quality Technicians, Engineers, and related functions, as well as Customer Quality Engineers, to achieve team goals and objectives.

  • Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949:2016 requirements, customer requirements, and Vitesco internal requirements.

  • Making estimations and planning task execution to meet deadlines.

  • Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of results within the agreed framework.

  • Coordinating customer complaints using quality tools (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, FMEA) and following up on corrective actions established with the team.

  • Handling operational quality and customer quality within the production unit.

What will you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in a similar position, demonstrating strong technical expertise in production processes;

  • Prior exposure to the automotive industry, preferably around 2 years, with a deep understanding of the automotive environment;

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships across all levels;

  • Fluent proficiency in English;
