Actalent Process Engineer in Getzville, New York

Actalent Engineering is Hiring!!!

Description:

  • Interact with resources with remote connections

  • Put together required specs, calculations and design reviews, scope of work by contract

  • Scope of supply refined through sales – if order confirmed, understand deliverables and timeline

  • Work with resource managers to create plan and fulfill contractual project

  • Process system – technology and components – to deliver desired outcome of food and beverage products

  • Work with resource pool

  • Project management but no responsible for dollars but more technical accuracy

  • Budget of hours of people assigned

  • Has one lead engineer – currently managing 4-5 projects; 25-30 a year in different phases, bulk of work done in first 30% of project to make sure when installed or commissioned, meets KPI or performance (temp, flow rates)

  • Bachelor's degree – chemical engineer or mechanical Engineer

  • Food and beverage is a huge plus (oil and gas, chemicals – not ideal)

  • Product type: Pumps, valves, heat exchangers

  • Sanitary – regulatory compliance
