The Value Stream Manager is responsible for leading Gessate Value streams in meeting business performance objectives and operational effectiveness standards as identified in the Win scorecard, Division and Location business strategies and annual plan. The Value Stream Manager's duties include:

• Maintaining a safe environment, carrying out preventative and responsive actions to ensure employee health and safety.

• Managing the value stream to deliver Premier customer service.

• Driving quality improvement in the value stream in line with customer requirements and RPPM scores.

• Increasing productivity and driving continuous improvement through deployment of Lean tools in a High Performance Team (HPT) environment.

• Design and maintain a well-trained and flexible value streams, able to respond to changes in demand facilitation of teams through problem solving techniques.

• Communication with key customer and suppliers.

• Support the safe and effective introduction and establishment of new products and processes.

• Effective management of company assets and resources in meeting financial goals, implementation of cost reduction programs.

• Ensuring compliance of production processes with ISO 9001 procedures and standards.

• Participation in regular financial control and planning.

• Reporting and cooperation with site and Division business.

• Other activities required to support the site and Division business.

• Management facilities and maintenance budget.

• Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper opportunities.

• Must have functional understanding of cost accounting and adopt to practical application

• With at least 4 or more years of experience in a leadership role.

• Previous work experience ideally includes experience in business and operational processes.

• 5-year university degree (or international equivalent) required, the ideal candidate has studied Business or Engineering.

• Ideal candidate is working towards or has completed a Master’s degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or related areas of study.

• Proven track record of achieving results while complying with all regulatory requirements and company policies/procedures.

• Strong technical knowledge on Fluid Control products, applications, technology, trends and markets.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Good interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiation, relationship building and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects.

• Spoken and written English & Italian.
