Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As a Next Generation Automatic Test Set (NGATS Operator – Electrical Systems Lead you will be responsible for operating, performing, and supervising field maintenance on the NGATS, Direct Support Electrical Test System (DSETS), and Base Shop Test Facility (BSTF), AN/TSM-191.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct field-level electronic maintenance, adjustments, tests, fault isolation, and repairs of supported system LRUs, SRUs, and TPS.

  • Perform maintenance on combat vehicles, Infantry, and Artillery fire control systems, along with related test equipment.

  • Execute preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on assigned vehicles and power generators.

  • Operate and supervise field maintenance on NGATS, DSETS, BSTF, AN/TSM-191.

  • Ensure accurate programming and operation of all equipment.

  • Identify, isolate, and repair instrument components as necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI.

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Requires prior enlistment in the U.S. Army with a 94Y MOS - Automatic Test Systems Operator/Maintainer.

  • Requires experience in electronic maintenance and repair.

  • Must be proficient in performing preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS).

  • Requires the ability to operate and maintain NGATS, DSETS, and BSTF, AN/TSM-191.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Certification in electronic maintenance and repair.

  • Experience with combat vehicles, Infantry and Artillery fire control systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
