JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Summary of Role The Senior Accountant is responsible for driving results in a fast-paced environment by assisting in the monthly financial close process according to established timelines. The position prepares and/or records journal entries related to all areas of the general ledger, maintains, or oversees maintenance of fixed assets, and reconciles account balances and bank statements. In addition, the Senior Accountant exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Your Responsibilities * Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts; work with project managers for invoicing projections, work with engineers on capital spend, and update payables position based on supplier payment terms * Accurately code and post complex journal entries * Participate in the monthly closing process * Perform and maintain account reconciliations * Create and maintain fixed assets * Review and clear GR/IR transactions * Assist with tax return and audit support, including real and personal property, sales and use tax * Provide support for internal and external audits * Comply with established company policies and procedures * Strong analytical mindset with knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures Requirements for the Role * Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of related experience * Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) * Experience in SAP Preferred What We Offer We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, paid time off, bonus program, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, 24/7 employee assistance program, flexible work hours, and the opportunity for career training and development.
