Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical services and equipment in accordance with applicable electrical codes. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of programmable logic controls (PLC), controllers, electrical components and devices, and a basic understanding of robotic operations.

Hard Skills

  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience

  • PLC troubleshooting experience

  • Robotics experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Work Environment

This role is within a large forging manufacturer specializing in crankshafts and knuckles. The facility is very big and hot, featuring old machinery, conveyors, stamping presses, heating elements, and robotics. The company has improved its reputation for safety and work hours over the past two years under new management. The maintenance team now averages 48 hours per week. Shifts are available as follows: 1st shift - 6:40am-3:00pm, 2nd shift - 2:40pm-11:00pm, 3rd shift - 10:40pm-7:00am (times are subject to change). The company is flexible with scheduling, allowing employees to make up time on weekends if needed.
