Description

Robert Half Lexington has an excellent employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role involves managing dispatch operations on a 3rd shift schedule from Tuesday to Saturday 12 AM- 8 AM w/ overtime. As a part of our logistics team, you will be actively involved in coordinating freight carriers, handling shipping and receiving tasks, and providing call center customer service. This is a 3rd shift opening for a Tuesday to Saturday 12:00am to 8:00am with possible overtime. Ideal candidate would be fluent in Spanish, or have command over the English and Spanish languages preferred. Apply today to be considered!

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage dispatch operations during the 3rd shift, ensuring smooth flow of logistics.

• Coordinate with freight carriers for the timely and accurate delivery of goods.

• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all goods are properly documented and tracked.

• Provide exceptional customer service in a call center environment, resolving any issues or inquiries related to logistics and distribution.

• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accurate logistics records.

• Assist in various logistics and distribution tasks as required.

• Monitor overtime activities during weekends and ensure they are effectively managed.

• Maintain open communication with the team to ensure all operations are running smoothly.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and keep accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements • Proficiency in dispatching and coordinating freight carriers

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience in the logistics industry, specifically in shipping and receiving

• Familiarity with logistics and distribution processes and systems

• Proven customer service skills, preferably in a call center environment

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in using computer software and systems relevant to the role

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

• Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays if required
