OVERVIEW

A Servtender position is a combination of a server and a bartender, and is the main face of our restaurant front of house operations, including both the food and bar operations. This positions responsibilities revolve around the service of our guests with genuine hospitality, speed, and accuracy. This position has the unique opportunity to wear several hats within the world of F&B and is integral to our programs success. Food & Beverage (F&B) Program The Food & Beverage team delivers a dining program focused on elevated favorites with approachable, genuine hospitality. As one of the most visible aspects of our residents stay, the F&B program strives to provide unique and memorable connections and experiences. Our residents look to us to help create a home away from home, and we proudly aim to delight and inspire with each of our interactions and offerings.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provides friendly, quality, genuine hospitality to each guest.

  • Greets guests, takes orders, prepares drinks, and serves offerings in accordance to established restaurant and bar standards.

  • Is knowledgeable of both food and beverage menus and offerings, including dietary and allergen guidelines.

  • Operates cash register and receives payment in cash or credit card, and accurately counts and provides change for guest, when applicable.

  • Operates in compliance with federal, state, and local law requirements for serving alcohol.

  • Prepares and serves non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages as ordered, following recipes and preparation processes in compliance with company standards.

  • Serves food as ordered in compliance with company standards.

  • Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.

  • Monitors the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting the sale to those who are intoxicated. Orders taxis or other means of transportation for intoxicated patrons.

  • Follows sanitation standards to clean and maintain the restaurant front of house, including sweeping and vacuuming.

  • Performs shift opening/closing/prep duties as assigned for the front of house operations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

  • 6 months Previous serving and bartending experience

  • Innate desire to provide the very best guest experience

  • Ability to exhibit a professional image, including cleanliness and appearance standards

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet

  • Basic math skills and ability to apply them in professional restaurant setting
