  • POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Provides high quality evaluation and treatment services for individuals with communicative, swallowing, and cognitive difficulties. Coordinates these services with other programs within the Health System and with outside agencies. Meets the needs and exceeds the expectations of our customers.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION:

  • Minimum:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA Certification CCC-SLP (Successful completion of CFY year post-masters degree)

  • Preferred:

  • Strong CF considered

  • LICENSE:

  • Minimum:

  • Current, or eligible for, NYS SLP license

  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum:

  • BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.

  • WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum:

  • New grad acceptable

  • Preferred:

  • One to two years experience.

  • SKILLS:

  • Minimum:

  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

  • Computer literacy

  • Preferred :

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record

    Salary Range: $36.55-$39.58
