Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookeryis a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. We have been featured in Forbes, Wine Spectator, Eater, and have won "Best Farm to Table Restaurant" four years in a row by The Finger Lakes Times Readers' Choice Awards. We are extremely popular with locals & travelers to our region with positive online reviews and guest feedback. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Bartender

We are currently looking for experienced part-time bartender to work on the floor with us for 1-3 nights a week at our lively & social restaurant.

What we can expect from you:

  • 2+ years of previous craft bartending experience in a similar setting -high-end & high-volume setting preferred

  • has wine, beer & cocktail recipe knowledge- advanced & regional knowledge preferred

  • to stay current & creative with culinary, beverage & hospitality trends

  • to complete side work & cleaning duties to standard

  • to maintain a clean and organized dining room & all FOH stations

  • strong customer service skills

  • effective communication & team work- you need to be able to work with all service staff all while communicating with the kitchen and guests

  • be a professional: remain composed -you are “on stage” at all times that you are in the dining room

  • full-time or part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed

Salary Description

$10.00 per hour plus tips.
