Job Summary We are seeking a Cook to join the team at winery's restaurant, The Tankroom Cafe. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. If you have a passion for cooking we want to hear from you. Position includes weekends. Days off will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Duties and Responsibilities: -Create specials according to season -Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner -Keep self on task, work independently and maintain a clean environment -Prepare food items for service on a daily basis: make soups, dressings, specialty sides, etc. -Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and stock orders when delivered -Keep food storage areas up to date and organized -Follow all food safety regulations -Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures -Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications: -Previous experience in a similar role is preferred -ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification (candidate can earn this on the job if needed) -Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes -Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure -Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task for quick ticket times -Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

This is a Full Time, seasonal position, expected to last 3+ months. Anticipated hours are: Thursday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:30pm, Sunday from 8:30am-5:30pm, & Monday from 10:30am-5:30pm
