EEDP is an entry level engineering program consisting of rotational assignments and technical trainings. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

As an Aviation EEDP, you will :

  • Work on at least 3 rotations in various engineering sub-sections over 2-3 years providing different work experiences.

  • Receive technical trainings, deliver weekly home works (average 10 hours study requires), mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.

  • Improve your soft skills with various leadership development trainings.

  • Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering in Istanbul Technical University.

  • Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas

  • As an Edison Engineer in TTC, job assignments are primarily focused on Turbomachinery Design, you have the opportunity to work on a variety of high priority teams, potentially including mechanical hardware design (such as Airfoil, Structure, Rotor, Combustor), aeromechanics, thermal system design, stress and life analysis, manufacturing, repair, additive, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Material Science Engineering similar, or similar disciplines

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Maximum 3 years professional experience

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing

  • GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 overall

  • Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion and curiosity for engineering

  • Demonstrated an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms

  • Demonstrated and enthusiastic leadership and teambuilding skills

  • Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment

  • Proven scholastic achievements and proactive leadership skills
