Job Description Summary

As the Lean Manager, you will play a key role in driving Lean methodologies and initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency throughout our manufacturing operations.

You will responsible for the process and quality improvement roles Impacts the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Lean strategies, initiatives, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in Grid Solution Business.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings, utilizing Lean tools and methodologies such as Shinghi, Kaizen, and 6 Sigma.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and enhance product quality and reliability.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training to employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking.

  • Utilize data-driven approaches and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Lean initiatives and drive sustainable results.

  • Act as a change agent and champion for Lean principles, driving organizational buy-in and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability

Required Qualifications

  • No obstacle to work from Gebze, Turkey

  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in Lean management, preferably in the electromechanical sector or Transformer Manufacturing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.

  • Lean Training Certifications are essential, with a preference for candidates holding a 6 Sigma Black Belt certification.

  • Completed Shinghi and Kaizen trainings.

  • Advanced proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.

Desired Characteristics

  • MSc is preferred on Manufacturing
