Boeing Poland Sp.z o.o. is currently looking for a Cloud Support Specialist to join our team in either Gdansk, Warsaw or Rzeszow, Poland.

The position will be associated with one of the Poland offices. However, candidates can work from our office or in hybrid mode from home if preferred.

Position Overview :

Hiring a dedicated Cloud Support Specialist for our private internal cloud team. This role will provide exceptional support, high level management of customer tickets, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate service documentation within the cloud environment for training opportunities within the user community.

Please note that the position will be in touch with customers and teams all over the globe, hence working hours may differ slightly depending on the demand of support needed. The role therefore offers flexible working options, including hybrid or remote (with possibility of occasional on-site visits as per business need).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Customer Ticket Management: Act as the primary point of contact when internal cloud users need to escalate, promptly resolving tickets with vendor technicians and ensuring regular updates.

  • Operational Issue Resolution: Monitor and troubleshoot cloud operational issues. Collaborate with IT teams for swift incident resolution.

  • Documentation and Knowledge Base: Maintain up-to-date documentation for cloud services, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices. Promote self-service support through knowledge-sharing.

  • User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions to improve users' understanding of cloud services. Provide hands-on support/knowledge share for tasks like resource provisioning and management.

  • Incident Reporting and Analysis: Prepare incident reports, including root cause analysis, to identify areas for improvement and preventive measures.

  • Resource Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor resource usage, identify optimization opportunities, and enhance efficiency.

  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to enforce cloud security policies and compliance standards.

  • Vendor Coordination: Engage with cloud service providers to address inquiries and track service requests.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process enhancements and automation opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Proven experience in cloud support within a private internal cloud environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with private cloud technologies and security best practices.

  • Proficiency in cloud resource monitoring and optimization.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced setting.

  • Familiarity with VMware hypervisor, Kurbernetes container technology stacks such as Tanzu and RedHat OpenShift, Infrastructure as a Service and Infrastructure as Code methodology.
