Intel Cloud DevOps Engineer in Gdansk, Poland

Job Description

We are a group of seventy or so engineers who are part of Intel Product Assurance and Security group. Our mission is to help our customers in delivering solutions within security and privacy areas.

Multiple engineering teams of c.a. 6-12 engineers work in a fast pace agile environment, closely cooperating with our business partners worldwide.

Currently, we are looking for a seasoned Cloud DevOps Engineer to join one of our teams.

The scope of work assumes: - build and maintain highly available, resilient infrastructures in public clouds (AWS, Azure) to meet strict SLA requirements of our customers, - closely cooperate with development teams using Agile methodology, - automate everything, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles, - work with large datasets using both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

We expect that:

  • you have 7+ experience in DevOps in public or private cloud technologies,

  • you are familiar with container and container orchestration technologies,

  • you are familiar with Linux,

  • you have good communication skills in English,

  • you are passionate about technology and want to constantly grow your skills in different technical areas,

  • you are open minded, encourage innovative solutions.

You will get extra points if you meet some of those:

  • you have experience with Infrastructure As Code (e.g. Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Terraform),

  • you used logging tools (e.g. ELK, Splunk),

  • you used monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor),

  • you have experience with running containerized services (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Azure AKS),

  • you have cloud certificate (e.g. AWS, Azure associate level certificate, CKA or equivalent),

  • have knowledge about cryptography and security principles.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
