Intel AI Software Validation Engineer in Gdansk, Poland

Job Description

NEX Software OpenVINO Developer Tools group is looking for a software validation engineer to join the team responsible for testing the features of deep learning platforms and appliances from the OpenVINO ecosystem, particularly the Intel Geti platform.

As a part of the team, you'll work with the newest software solutions based on Docker and Kubernetes utilizing AI HW developed in Intel.

You will contribute to the validation of our products and integration with other tools from OpenVINO ecosystem, design test cases based on functional requirements and performance guidelines, work on products in the Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning domain, write code for automated tests, mainly in Python, and perform manual validation of the platform and documentation.

Candidate profile :

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field

  • At least 3 years of experience in complex software validation and testing including design of various test types: functional, performance, stress, integration, compatibility, portability etc.

  • Experience in test automation, especially with Python-based frameworks, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

  • Working knowledge of the Linux operating system

  • Proficiency in a scripting language like bash

  • Experience in Version Control Systems (Git, GitHub, or others)

  • Ability to diagnose and communicate complex technical issues

  • Good verbal and written English communication skills

Will be an additional advantage:

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience in Web/UI validation automation (Selenium or others)

  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms

  • ISTQB certificate

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
