Job Description

The Project Planner will oversee the planning & scheduling of a large AC project in the north of Poland. This is a large, complex multi-year EPC project (contract value > $300 Mil.), part of a portfolio of several AC projects for different customers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Read the contract to understand the scope and requirements.

  • Continue the development of a detailed project schedule using the established tools and processes and challenge the team to ensure schedule risk is managed with a balance of competitive offering aligned to historical performance

  • Work with the internal project team, customers, and 3rd parties to develop and maintain the overall schedule representing the entire project by integrating inputs from all parties: project management, engineering, procurement, construction, customer and suppliers.

  • Ensure proper linkages in schedule to show all interdependencies between contributing parties

  • Ensure functional owners sign off on commitments and are made accountable for their agreed dates

  • Deliver a high-quality schedule aligned with global standards to ensure project is accurately represented

  • Analyze schedules based on historical data and trends to accurately forecast completion

  • Challenge functional owners on forecast completion dates to ensure dates are realistic

  • Develop Project control KPIs to monitor project progress

  • Generates “what if” scenarios to optimize execution and works with project teams to evaluate feasibility

  • Drive functional owners to mitigate risks and follows up with functional owners on risk mitigation actions

  • Provide and communicate regular status reporting

  • Support claims and change orders by providing impact analysis

  • Manage labor and non-labor resource loading within the schedule, including hours, and quantities at a minimum, and costs wherever possible.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent

  • Experienced in EPC project planning

  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6

  • Fluent Polish and good English language

  • Mastering of involved disciplines (process and tools such as Smart Sheet, Unifier, Tableau etc.)

  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills

  • Demonstrate presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages

  • Demonstrate ownership & accountability, judgment and decision making, influences & inspires team, creates a vision and strategy, and has passion for the role

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

  • We are looking for someone who will support our team on site in Choczewo
