Need 10 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Gary, MN. From: 04/04/2024 - 12/1/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Must Apply By: 08/03/2024 JOB DUTIES: Employees will drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops such as corn & sugar beets. Employees will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed, and fertilize. They will haul with trucks, materials, supplies, or harvested crops will be hauled to storage on the farm or local elevators. All commodities and supplies hauled will be the property of Skaurud Grain Farms. There will be no commercial hauling. Routine daily maintenance will be done on all equipment, structures & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after being given instructions and must be team players when needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have three (3) months tractor driving installed with GPS and towed implements. Operate and understand computerized monitors. Must have a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
