About The Role

The Hospitality L&D Specialist is responsible to support designing and delivering trainings to enable effective job learning, capability development and cultivate a culture of collaboration, trust, customer focus, agility and diversity in line with ATI people and organizational development strategies and plans.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

Build and cultivate relationships with Hospitality business leaders, L&D and key stakeholders to execute hospitality L&D development plans to meet its current and future business needs

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

· Work closely with Senior Hospitality Management and L&D team to identify existing training needs and performance gaps per brand. Create an annual training plan to address the gaps.

· Work closely with the brands to develop & deliver brand required trainings

· Support Senior Hospitality Leaders with training plans and hands-on training for new outlet opening/launch plan.

· Design and implement training plans per brand that encompass various facets of hospitality, including customer service, industry trends, and job-specific skills.

· Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting training plan based on performance metrics.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices, integrating relevant insights into training programs to maintain a competitive edge in service delivery.

· Develop and implement crisis management training to ensure staff readiness in handling unforeseen situations, maintaining service quality during challenging times.

· Administer end-to-end execution of training programs in terms of logistics, training materials and nomination of participants, and follow-up and feedback and evaluation.

· Leverage usage of L&D academy hospitality mock rooms to regularly facilitate customer experience, barista training, food & hygiene training etc

· Strict adherence to training budget allocated and monthly budget utilization update to management & L&D team

· Define and track success measures for various forms of learning interventions.

· Prepare and circulate feedback, monthly training update and evaluation reports /analysis to senior leaders

· Support senior leaders in organizing team building, employee engagement initiatives such as townhalls

· Support Organizational development projects and change management agenda for the business.

About You

Education/Certification and Continued Education

Graduate or Postgraduate in any relevant field

Years of Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience as Hospitality L&D Specialist or in a similar role with experience in training delivery and training plan development and execution.

• Experience with Learning Technologies

• Previous training experience in hospitality industry is mandatory

Knowledge and Skills

· Good commercial and business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills..

· Good influencing, interpersonal and coaching skills.

· Good change management and stakeholder management skills

· Strong project management, planning, and execution.

· Knowledge of adult learning practice, facilitation and training techniques and ability to apply instructional design and content writing methods to deliver impactful learning programs.

· Proven experience in driving learning solution design through all phases from concept, presentation, design, development, facilitation, evaluation, refinement, and implementation.

· The ability to organize, prioritize and own multiple tasks while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines

· Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

· Knowledge and usage of e-learning design and delivery and use of Digital Learning Technologies.
