Robert Half HR Generalist (Bilingual Japanese) in Gardena, California
Description Our well-respected client is hiring a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. The primary functions of this role will involve comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. Key responsibilities
Create a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
Strategize on employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
Preside over appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances
Write official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
Use HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration
Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience
Examine employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly
Collaborate with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
Shape onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations Requirements - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
3+ years of full-cycle human resources experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong time management skills preferred
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
Thorough when handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
-Bilingual in Japanese and English
