Your new role – challenging and future-oriented - You will...

  • Evaluate existing Generative AI methods for their impact on the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Identify and elaborate the potential of Generative AI for increasing the efficiency and effectivity of the SDLC.

  • Apply and evaluate your findings to a business project within the scope of industrial DevOps.

  • Develop new Generative AI concepts for software product and process quality improvement.

  • Publish and present research results at academic/industrial conferences and journals.

  • Finally, drive the discussion on main research questions and present their relevance for Siemens.

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate - You have...

  • M.Sc. degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

  • Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.

  • Furthermore, have initial hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs)

  • Initial experience in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • Deep understanding of software engineering applied in a variety of use cases and projects is a prerequisite.

  • Gained strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#.

  • In addition, you have very good written and oral English skills are required (C1). German skills would be an advantage (³ B2)
