Insight Global IT Expense and Financial Analyst in Galveston, Texas

Job Description

An Insurance customer of Insight Global is seeking an IT Expense Analyst to work with the Corporate Technology Services (CTS) Finance team to plan, organize, and coordinate the development and implementation of financial operations and processes in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. This person will aid in the financial, budgetary, forecasting, and accounting operations for their CTS department. The teams primary focus oversees all budget requests for the department and deals with contract maintenance and renewals. During budget season (Sept-Nov) they will be assigned a specific category to provide trend and insight analysis. There are two large initiatives that this person will be heavily involved in and expected to adapt quickly: Implementation of ServiceNow to better manage administrative tasks and requests from the business units and also moving their IT costs tracking system that ties into budget allocation, Nicus, will be moving from on-prim to the cloud. This is a small but highly collaborative team and this person is expected to learn quickly, have strong financial analysis skills, as well as a technical background with all of the system management initiatives in play. This role has a competitive salary range between $60-69K annually and is required on-site 5 days a week in Galveston, TX, or Springfield, MO, and has an optional flex schedule.

Skills and Requirements

2-4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and/or IT Expense and Asset Management Analysis

Experience with SAP (EPM) and BPC (SAP's Excel add-on) and an in-depth understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

Proficiency in Excel

Experience with contract maintenance and renewals (working with technology and software vendors)

Strong experience with planning, budgeting, tracking, reporting, and forecasting financials in an enterprise environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Degree in Accounting or related field

Experience with Power BI

Experience using Nicus, MagicOrange, Coupa or other cost tracking systems

Proficiency with ServiceNow for tracking requests null
