Description Job Duties: - * Assigns order or dock task to the appropriate personnel * Coordinates with the CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle counts * Ships individual product orders using a Fed-Ex or UPS shipping system * Stocks and maintains shipping area with supplies and equipment * Ensures address labels are correct by verifying against pick ticket * Ensures Bills of Lading (BOL) are completed correctly * Audits employees tasks and paperwork to ensure all instructions and processes are followed accurately and in a timely manner * Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders in totes and on pallets or shelves, conveys orders to packing station or shipping department and ensures hazmat requirements are met * Wraps products (gaylord/s) for shipment at the end of the day * Assists supervisory personnel in overseeing activities * Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner which promotes safety of employees and security of customer's products * Informs supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions * Assists with ensuring operating procedures are being followed and are current * Assists with ensuring inventory accuracy * Assists with ensuring customers' expectations are being met and the company is in compliance * Manages Customs Documents and Compliance and items related to international shipments * Prepares cartons in specified sequence for assembly or shipping by other workers * Must have the ability to use IT equipment that includes computer and RF gun * Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipment * Other duties as required and assigned Requirements: * High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency * Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and /or training; or an equivalent combination of educations and experience * Experience with warehouse equipment * Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel * Multiple warehouse management system training preferred * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual * Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance and must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
