Intel Senior Automotive Validation Engineer in Galati, Romania

Job Description

Integrates, validates, and debugs software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology. Designs and develops a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack. Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures. Writes validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, triages failures, and recommends or develops corrective action. Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.

Required skills and competences:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field with 6+ years of programming experience.

  • Knowledge of both Windows and Unix based operating systems environments.

  • Good knowledge of software programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Java)

  • Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Unix-shell, Python).

  • Good knowledge of unit testing concepts, previous experience with unit tests implementation (e.g., VectorCast, LDRA, pytest).

  • Good problem-solving skills, good organization skills and a very structured approach to your work.

  • Spoken and written English: upper-intermediate level or advanced.

  • The ability to have an effective communication with teams located on site and off site.

  • Capable of executing complex tasks with high level of independence.

  • A can-do attitude is required.

  • An experience in automotive software and hardware environment.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
