Your Opportunity

Stantec has an opportunity for highly motivated Civil Engineering Intern based in Gaithersburg, MD. This is a paid internship position during the summer.

This is the place where great ideas and rewarding careers can really take off. With a unique multidisciplinary team approach, we're equipped with state-of-the-art survey tools, simulation models, specialized design software, and computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include CAD drafting, design calculations, project documentation, assist in developing engineer's estimates, and other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support infrastructure projects in Maryland.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Computer literacy in AutoCAD, word processing, Excel, and other standard office software is an asset.

Education and Experience

  • Enrollment in an accredited Civil or Environmental Engineering program

  • Achieve a Civil Engineering degree within the next two years.
