Description:

The Plumbing Dept at our client is looking for a Project Manager Assistant and will be responsible for supporting the management and coordination of projects, from start to finish. This person will work closely with the Project Manager and the Install Team to assist with development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, allocate resources efficiently, track and report on project progress, help identify and manage project risks and issues, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. The Project Manager Assistant will also act as a liaison between the client and the project team and assist in the preparation of project proposals and statements of work. This person should have strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and coordination of service projects from start to finish.

• Work with the PM to ensure that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager and the Install Team to ensure that project resources are allocated efficiently.

• Help develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Help with tracking and reporting on project progress, including financials and project status updates.

• Help identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Manager as necessary.

• Act as a liaison between the client and the project team, ensuring that the client's needs are met and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.

• Help ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and organized, including project plans, budgets, schedules, and status reports.

• Attend project meetings and provide updates to the Project Manager and the Install Team.

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and statements of work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, business management or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management duties.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and project team members.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficient in project management software tools.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and services is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
