Cargill Production Controller Inventory Supervisor in Gainesville, Georgia

Job Purpose and Impact

The Production Controller Inventory Supervisor will monitor and maintain the inputs of production for all fill lines. Manage raw material inventory levels. Manage all system adjustments including shrink adjustments in a timely manner, enabling identification and correction of issues accounting and accuracy of inventory of raw material and Finished Goods. In this role, you will ensure compliance with established internal control procedures, accuracy of all data in business management software and aids in establishing inventory control concepts, best methods, and procedures. Utilize expertise in Process and System Operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work Closely with Supply Chain/MRP team to supply and plan inventory for raw materials.

  • Define finished goods and raw material inventory strategy, routines, segmentation, targets and incorporate other relevant.

  • Management of process order/schedule in IMScan MII/SAP Release, Confirm/Good issue, TECO.

  • Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.

  • Create, maintain, and update procedures and training materials related to common transactions needed to support department and Train team members.

  • Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timeline.

  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications

Minimum Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Proven time management and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams.

  • Strong computing skills, proficient in office package, MRP/ERPs. 

  • Strong SAP experience

Preferred

  • Knowledge of business management software modules used in the warehouse.

  • Understanding of warehouse processes and flow

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build and maintain business relationship across multiple businesses and levels within the organization.
